Hey r/saas , I built a small HR tool because my dad was tracking vacation, sick leave and overtime in Excel and hated it. What it does: - Calendar view + table: how much vacation total / used / left this year - Add employees with name, position, weekly hours - Track overtime: add extra hours or log overtime reduction as a status The part I need feedback on - employee self-service: I didn't want employees to be able to edit everything, but my dad also didn't want to enter everything himself. So I built it like this: - Only the admin account has full access - In account settings you get a Company ID - For each employee you WANT to give access, you create a separate employee account with a password - You give the employee their login + Company ID - On the landing page there's a separate "Employee Login" - they can then only request for today: present / absent / sick / vacation / overtime reduction - Requests go to admin as "pending" and need approval, so they can't fake it. You don't have to create employee accounts at all if you don't want to. Stack: Supabase hosted in EU, with Imprint, Privacy Policy, DPA, Terms done. Currently in free beta with my dad's company. Planned pricing is 99€ up to 10 employees + 9€ per extra / month. Not sure if that's too high. Would love brutal feedback on the employee flow and pricing.
