Original Summary
I've been working on an iOS app called Krilo as a side project and recently got it onto the App Store. The original idea was pretty simple: I wanted calorie tracking to take as little effort as possible. I've used apps where I eventually stopped tracking because logging every meal became a chore. So I built Krilo around a few different ways to log food — you can take a picture, describe what you ate, scan a barcode, or just enter it manually. Since then I've probably gone a little overboard and added macro tracking, Apple Health integration, workouts/activity, nutrition trends, Apple Watch complications, etc. Now I'm at the point where I'm trying to figure out what actually makes the app better vs. what I'm adding just because I can. For anyone who tracks calories/macros: What would make you switch from whatever you're currently using? And if you check out Krilo, feel free to tear apart the UI/UX. I've been staring at it for so long that I'm definitely blind to some things at this point. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/krilo/id6785719724 submitted by /u/Dem0n1c [link] [comments]
