Hi r/SideProject ! My name is Mathias and I'm a M. Ing. student in Comp Sci. I love space and I love developing mobile apps, so that's why I made Astro. Astro is a native iOS space exploration app. It brings together real-time satellite tracking, space news, upcoming missions, and interactive 3D spacecraft models in one experience. One of the more ambitious features I built is a launch event simulator that recreates the different phases of a rocket launch using real telemetry data, including stage transitions and vehicle motion.
