When a bug lands in a backlog, the hardest part is often not fixing it. It is reconstructing what actually happened from a vague description, a screenshot, and half the console output. I have been working on BugDrop to make that handoff less messy. You record a short reproduction, review the captured evidence, add expected versus actual behavior, then export one Markdown or JSON report for a teammate or coding agent. It is local first and intentionally boring about data: • no account or cloud service • no AI API key • captures stay on your machine • you choose what remains before exporting It currently works with web apps, local desktop apps, iOS simulators, and Android emulators. I work on the project and it is still an early MIT licensed prototype.
