Original Summary

I started this side project to help me improve my video editing experience and help automate out what I consider the more annoying and tedious parts of the process, while also giving me the ability to still hand edit if I wanted to. What I built it a video editing software that runs locally in browser for the UI and also has a complete API if you want to hand it off to an agent to use. There are many options in including letting it analyze the video and write the script (via ai API) you can also plugin your eleven labs api key for voice generation of said script. Alternatively you can add in your own script with timings. It'll auto-caption, do callouts, auto-pan, thumbnail generation and a whole lot more. It utilizes ffmpeg and other python libraries for the functionality. The app is localhost-only and your media never leaves their machine, and the two billed features (AI cover backgrounds, writing a script) need their own API key, everything else, including reading a video, transcription, covers and all the automation, is free and offline.
