Original Summary

I have a regular job, and in my spare time I’ve been building a management tool for handyman and small service businesses. My first version tries to keep everything together: leads, estimates, jobs, scheduling, invoices and payments. I thought that was the obvious solution. Now I’m not so sure. After showing it around, someone pointed out that business owners may already be comfortable with their back-office tools. The bigger problem might be the customer side: texts, calls, booking, quote approvals and payment links all happening in different places. So now I’m stuck between two directions. Keep building the all-in-one system, or make something much simpler where customers can request a job, approve a quote and pay in one place. Since I’m building this after work, I’d rather find out now if I’m going in the wrong direction. What would you do? submitted by /u/Significant-Push-793 [link] [comments]
