Original Summary
When you search the internet for how to market your app, everyone says the same thing: build in public, make videos, record yourself talking, get traction, be active on Reddit, be active on LinkedIn, be active on X. Bro, that's too much. I already built the SaaS. I'm not taking the slow route. I'm the kind of person who wants the maximum outcome with the minimum input. All that posting and grinding is heavy mental work, and it's slow. I think differently. I look for shortcuts. This isn't new for me. I've been building mobile apps and games for years. I scaled multiple apps to 100K, 500K, even 1M downloads, and I sold some of them. So I know how distribution works. But SaaS is new territory for me. I'm exploring, I'm learning, and I'm hunting for the shortcut again. Here's what that looks like in practice: I pay for things even though I could do them myself. I paid for a proper logo and branding kit. I know design. But doing it myself costs me weeks, and my time needs to go into shipping. Same with animation and video. I could learn it in two or three weeks. Or I pay someone on Fiverr and it's done this week while I keep building. Fiverr is honestly my favorite place to spend money. Most founders I know would never think of it. But the math is crazy. A guy with a French channel, 2,000 subscribers, 8,000 views per video, wanted to charge me 1,400 euros for a promo. Then I found an English AI channel with 10 million subscribers pulling hundreds of thousands of views per video, for a fraction of that. Same money, completely different universe. Some of these experiments fail. That's fine. Every failed one teaches me something until I find the right channel, the right platform, the right path to traction. Then I scale it. The goal is simple: get users, get revenue, delegate everything repetitive, and keep my focus on the things that actually matter. Right now I have one paying user. He paid $460 for the yearly plan and he's active. That's my starting line. And the bigger vision: I want memory to become infrastructure. A standard, like MCP but for memory. Your AI agents, your apps, your watch, your car, all your data, structured and truly yours, available everywhere you work. I'm building Vilix AI to be that layer. submitted by /u/Asly97 [link] [comments]
