Hey everyone, I'm trying to set up a WhatsApp API number through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. I'm currently on developers.facebook.com → WhatsApp → Production setup → Phone number registration. When I try to register my phone number, it asks me for the PIN. I enter the PIN correctly and click Register, but I keep getting: «Error: Registration failed. Please try again.» One important detail: this phone number was previously being used with a regular WhatsApp account, and it's been around 24 hours since I deleted that WhatsApp account. Could the 24-hour period be the reason I'm unable to register it with the WhatsApp API? Is there some additional waiting period or deregistration process I need to complete before the number can be registered? Has anyone faced this issue recently and found a solution?
