I’ve spent multiple years of my life traveling abroad and working, and every new place I’d go, I’d have to spend a lot of time looking at Google Maps to see which cafe had good wifi and outlets. People don’t always include this info in their reviews, so sometimes a city would not have a clear winner and I’d lose time/money on a place that didn’t have good enough conditions for work. So I'm building a Yelp of sorts for digital nomads to help each other more easily find places to work from as we hop from place to place. The review system will be more specific to work - wifi quality, outlet prevalence, noise levels, quality of drinks/food, and so on. Where it stands currently: I used AI to seed it with some starting data - thousands of cafes from many cities around the world. I think it did a decent job. But obviously it could only go so far since a lot of this info is missing from the internet, hence the purpose of this site. The site is only as useful as the reviews in it, so it depends on people who have worked from these cafes taking a minute to rate them. Each review takes about 30 seconds and could save the next person a wasted afternoon. If you have a cafe you rely on in whatever city you're in now, I'd appreciate you adding it.
