Original Summary
I’m building a small tool that turns a product into multiple ad concepts / creative variations. The thing I’ve noticed is that creating an ad isn’t necessarily the hard part anymore. The harder question is: what should I actually test? Say I have one product - a $20/month SaaS tool. I could make 10 ads that all look different, but they might still be testing the same underlying idea. Or I could test different angles: - problem vs. benefit - price/value vs. quality - feature vs. outcome - different audiences - different hooks / messages Right now I’m stuck between two approaches: 3-4 different angles with 1 ad each , or 1 angle with 3-4 creative variations . It feels like those two approaches would teach you very different things, especially when you don’t have much data yet. For founders who actually run ads: How do you decide what concepts or angles to test? Do you have a framework for this, or is it mostly experience / intuition? And how much creative variation do you usually want before you feel like you’ve run a meaningful test? I’m especially interested in what people actually do, rather than what they think they should do. submitted by /u/Equal-Ride5587 [link] [comments]
