Hey all, I’d like to introduce a long time project I’ve been working on: IndieNodes IndieNodes is a webring whose goal is to introducing more people to independent musicians, comic book creators, artists, writers, and game developers. While it does work like a traditional webring, I’ve also created a custom web app that acts as a no account, no tracking, no algorithm, no favoritism way of digesting it either as an ambient passive player, or as an active experience. It also has an RSS feed so you can see new members that join as well. How it Works Each node can be a defined type that filters through existing entrants on the WebRing. You can have as many nodes on screen as you can, pulling from multiple node types at different intervals, complete with media playback, image viewers, TTS, and
