Original Summary

The format everyone hates. Talking head on top, Subway Surfers on the bottom, captions popping in one word at a time. Thought it'd be dead by now. Then I actually tested it instead of just having an opinion: same script, same audio, one normal 9:16 and one split screen, a bunch of times over weeks. Split screen won basically every time. not by miles, but consistently. My read: nobody's watching the Subway Surfers. An empty bottom third just registers as nothing happening, and you scroll. It's occupying space, that's it. The problem is it's 20 min in CapCut per clip. Daily, that's a part-time job for what should be a render step. So I built the thing: upload a clip, pick a background, get a 1080x1920 back with captions burned in. About 12 seconds. Link's in the comments; free render if you want to judge the output.
