Original Summary

I’m exploring a possible side project around this problem, but I’m deliberately trying to understand the problem before I build anything. I’m trying to understand a problem I run into in life from time to time, and I’m curious whether other people with ADHD / executive-function issues deal with the same thing. Not asking whether you’d buy an app, and I’m not trying to sell anything. I mean stuff like replacing a vehicle registration, renewing a passport, applying for an apartment or loan, finding an old tax or insurance document, dealing with government forms, realizing something important expired months ago, or knowing you HAVE a document but having absolutely no idea where it is. For me, the hardest part often isn’t the actual form. It’s figuring out what do I need, which parts do I already have, where are they, what’s missing or expired, who do I contact to replace it, and what do I actually do next? Sometimes instructions are written as if you’ve already got all your shit completely together. And sometimes the whole thing just gets abandoned, even when it’s important. So I’m curious: What was the last life-admin task that gave you trouble, and where exactly did the process break down for you? Did you eventually finish it, get help from someone else, keep putting it off, or abandon it altogether? If you did finish it, what finally got you over the finish line? submitted by /u/Environmental_Fan595 [link] [comments]
