I'm the developer, sharing my own app. Minutes is a meeting notetaker for Mac that does the whole job on the Mac: it records both sides of a call, then writes the transcript, summary and action items with the models Apple ships inside macOS 26. The audio never gets uploaded, and it keeps working with the network off. The bit to watch in the video: say "I'll send you the build before the review on Monday" and it shows up as a reminder, dated, with your sentence quoted under it. Nothing goes into Reminders or Calendar until you press Add. (The video is an animated recreation of the app's real screens, built from its own layout and wording, not a screen recording. Screenshots of the real thing are on the page.) How it hears the other side: it records your mic and the audio the call app plays as two separate channels, so Zoom, Meet, Teams and FaceTime all work and nothing joins the call. Two build notes, since this is r/SideProject : - When a call app grabs the built-in mic, macOS hands other apps a raw 3-channel array with your voice about 40 dB down. Took me a while to figure out; opening my own voice-processing unit gets the real signal back. - macOS 27's on-device model started returning broken JSON and I was losing summaries (3 of 18 test runs). Moving every model call to Apple's guided generation took that to 0. Every meeting ends up as one Markdown file in a folder you own, so Obsidian or any editor opens it. Limits: macOS 26 or later on Apple Silicon, summaries need Apple Intelligence switched on, English out of the box (Arabic, French and others need a one-time 600 MB download).
