I’ve been working on a side project called Song Money because I’ve been making music for about 15 years and realized I had a huge back catalog that was basically sitting there doing nothing. The idea is pretty simple: instead of musicians having to manually create Shorts for every song, upload them, write descriptions, and repeat the process constantly, Song Money automates the process and helps get their music in front of more people. I recently tested it with my own music and got around 2,000 additional plays through the YouTube Shorts generated from my songs. What I like most is the scalability. If you have 10 songs, it’s useful. If you have hundreds of songs like I do, manually promoting every track becomes almost impossible.
