Original Summary
Last week I saw a viral chart ranking the things people said had changed their lives. I loved the idea, but after digging into it I realized the chart had been modified and some of the numbers didn't actually reflect the original votes. but it gave me an idea: why not do it properly, make the data public, and let everyone vote? so I went back to the original surveys, merged +51k answers across 450 things, normalized them to the same scale, and built this: https://www.jeravalue.com/en/life-changing anyone can now add their own experience with one click, no account. we've already collected +1k new votes. it's all self-reported, so definitely not evidence of what objectively works. but I think it's a pretty interesting way to see what people say actually changed their lives. would love some feedback, especially on what's missing or what you'd improve. submitted by /u/Jera_Value [link] [comments]
