Original Summary
Hi everyone, I’ve been working on a personal web project called Toolvala, and I’d like to get some honest feedback from developers, SEO people, and website owners. Over time, I’ve built 200+ free online tools across around 20 categories. The entire project is hosted using GitHub Pages, without traditional paid web hosting. 👉 https://www.toolvala.com Most of the tools are built with standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on making them simple, fast, mobile-friendly, and useful without requiring users to install software. The project includes different types of tools such as calculators, converters, PDF and image tools, text tools, generators, education-related tools, developer tools, agricultural tools, file-size tools, online testing tools, and more. I’m also starting to see some individual tool pages appear in Google search results. For example: A mobile recharge calculator is currently appearing around the second page for one target search. A signature resize tool is appearing around the fourth page. Several other individual tool pages are also beginning to get search visibility. This has made me interested in the bigger question of whether building a large collection of small, focused tools is a good long-term strategy. I’m currently working on: SEO and internal linking Search indexing Page speed Mobile UX Tool functionality Site structure Improving individual tool pages Adding useful features based on user needs I’d really appreciate feedback from people who have experience with GitHub Pages, static websites, SEO, or tool-based websites. If this were your project, what would you improve first? Would you continue expanding the number of tools, or focus more heavily on improving and growing the tools that are already getting search traffic? I’m sharing this mainly to have a genuine discussion and learn from people who have built similar projects. Thanks for taking a look! submitted by /u/Toolvala_in [link] [comments]
