Original Summary

Hi everyone, I am the developer of RoxyMail , a native Mac email app. I've released the first beta and would love feedback from people who manage multiple email accounts. The focus is everyday email: bringing compatible IMAP accounts into one place, with a unified inbox, account and folder navigation, search, drafts, snooze and follow-up reminders. I'm particularly interested in three things: - Was connecting your account straightforward? - Can you comfortably move between inboxes and conversations? - Does composing or replying involve any unnecessary steps? There's also optional AI writing assistance using your own OpenAI-compatible provider and model. It's a secondary feature, not a requirement for using the app. You choose when to generate text, review the result, and decide what to put in your draft. AI never sends the email, and your provider's charges may apply. Before downloading: - Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 or later. - IMAP/SMTP password or app-specific-password access required. Google and Microsoft OAuth sign-in and OAuth-only accounts aren't supported in this build. - Free includes two active accounts without license registration. Free verified beta activation unlocks unlimited accounts for 90 days; afterward, the two-account Free option remains available. - This is a first beta. Please keep backups of important mail. And even if you don't: what would a new Mac email app need to do for you to consider switching? submitted by /u/sams8com [link] [comments]
