Original Summary
I am a solo founder from Surat building a file-sharing SaaS. It has reached 18k+ total visitors, 1.5k+ signups and 300+ daily active users. People are using it for documents, education and photo sharing. Getting people to try it has been encouraging, but I am still figuring out what makes someone upgrade. My assumption was that adding useful features would give people more reasons to pay. What I am learning is that someone can find the product useful and still have everything they need on the free plan. Now I am considering talking to my most active users to understand their workflows before changing pricing or free limits. For founders who faced this, how did you identify the problem? Was it attracting the wrong audience, giving too much away, or not making the paid value clear? What would you investigate first, and what evidence would you look for? submitted by /u/No-Career1273 [link] [comments]
