Was going through subscriptions this week and realized I have this dumb category of expenses where I'm paying to keep projects alive that almost nobody is using. Not failed projects exactly, more like little internal tools, experiments and half-finished ideas that I still want online because every couple weeks I'll come back to one. The irritating part is paying a normal monthly hosting bill for something that might get twenty minutes of actual use. Do you guys shut these things down completely when you're not working on them or have you moved them somewhere that only charges while they're being used? I'm specifically talking about apps with a backend and database here, not purely static sites.
