Hi all. This is the first app I built. It's called Slumbee and it's a dream journal. Claude Code wrote most of it. I directed it and reviewed everything. Took about a year of evenings. The basic idea is that you have maybe a minute after waking up before a dream starts disappearing. Typing is way too slow for that. So the app opens straight to a record button. You just mumble whatever you remember. It transcribes it and later you can have it interpret the dream or draw it if you want. It's free to try. The free tier is 30 dreams a month with the full journal, the community side and exports. It ended up being about 336k lines of Dart across 812 files. That's probably the biggest thing I'd change if I started over. Agents will create 4 files when 1 would do, and they won't delete old stuff unless you tell them to. I spent a ridiculous amount of time going back and deleting code from a month earlier. It also has a bad habit of saying something is done when it really isn't. Apple rejected this app 3 times on one submission. One of the bugs was pretty embarrassing: someone could buy Premium and the app would still show them as free. All my tests passed because I never actually tested a real purchase on a real device.
