i've been posting and commenting every day for almost seven weeks. the content is working better than i expected. one post did 58k views last week and sat at a 100% upvote ratio. my site got eleven visitors. so reach isn't my problem. the problem is i have no way to reach any of those people again. they read the thing, they nod, they leave, and that's it. i'm pretty sure the answer is that i should have built somewhere to send them a long time ago. an email list, something. i didn't, because i was busy building the product and the content wasn't working yet anyway. for anyone further along than me: what did you actually do first, when you had attention but nothing to catch it with? and how long before that started mattering.   submitted by   /u/Long-Reading-6514 [link]   [comments]
