Original Summary
I’m helping the creator of MyNotifyAssist share the project and gather feedback. The idea came from a frustration they kept running into: missing to-dos, habit check-ins, and bill payments because push notifications were too easy to swipe away. They built an app that sends reminders through WhatsApp, a voice call, or email instead. It started with reminders and grew to include: Habit tracking: check-ins through WhatsApp, voice, or email, with streak tracking. To-do lists: tasks with the same reminder options. Calendar tracking: recurring events synced with habits. Team notifications: shared reminders for small teams and groups. Expense tracking: logging and splitting expenses, including shared spaces for couples, roommates, or families. Kri, an AI assistant: connects these features through plain-language requests, such as “remind me to pay rent every 1st via WhatsApp.” The main thing we’d like feedback on is the reminder approach. Would switching channels actually help you follow through, or would WhatsApp messages and calls eventually become another thing to ignore? Also curious whether the extra features feel useful together or whether you’d prefer a smaller app focused entirely on reminders. Critical feedback is welcome!!! submitted by /u/StructureMuted2404 [link] [comments]
