Hey folks! Solo dev here, shipped my first native app to the App Store today after few months of development. Every trip I planned lived within 5 different apps. Excel for the plan, Google Maps for the places, Tricount for the money, a WhatsApp group for the rest. Nobody had the full picture, and someone always ended up owed money or losing the plan. This is why I decided to build Rumboo. What Rumboo does: Flights, stays and places in one trip, organized by destination Everyone logs what they paid, it works out who owes who in the fewest transfers Build the itinerary based on the trip places, with travel time between stops Everything on a map; works fully offline and syncs later One invite link and your friends are in, editing the same trip Some decisions I made that might be controversial: iOS 26+ only. The UI is built around Liquid Glass and I didn't want to ship a degraded version. It shrinks the market, but I'm one person. Offline-first (local DB as source of truth, server is a mirror). Hardest part of the build, best decision IMHO. Free plan that's actually good (up to 3 trips, all the splitting, all key features are free).
