Original Summary
This was the question that made me build Founder Battle. Most product leaderboards eventually have the same problem: A founder with a large audience can send hundreds of people to vote. A smaller founder might have a genuinely better product but almost no distribution. So instead of building another global upvote leaderboard, I’m experimenting with head-to-head battles. Two products enter. Independent people judge the matchup. One wins. Audience count doesn’t affect the result. Traffic doesn’t affect it. Paid boosts can’t change the winner. I soft launched it a couple of days ago and 27 products have joined the first 32 product arena. I’m mainly curious whether head-to-head judging ends up being more meaningful than traditional upvote leaderboards. Would you trust that model more, less, or about the same? submitted by /u/saberdevv [link] [comments]
