Hey everyone! I'm a Computer Science student and I've been working on a small project called CS Start. The idea came from something I noticed when starting my degree: there's a huge amount of content available online, but it can be pretty hard to figure out where to start and what to study first. So I started building an app around that idea. Right now, it has: - User registration and login - A quiz to identify the user's profile/interests - An initial study roadmap - Python + Streamlit for the interface - PostgreSQL as the database, using Supabase I've also been using AI as a development and learning tool throughout the project, after studying AI and taking part in a few AI-focused immersions. It's still a work in progress. I'm intentionally keeping the first version simple and planning to improve it gradually. I'd really like to hear from people who are already studying or have studied Computer Science : What do you wish you had when you first started? Did you have trouble figuring out what to study first? And if something like this had existed when you started, would you have found it useful? I'm asking because I want to use the feedback to decide what features would actually be worth adding next, instead of just adding things for the sake of it.
