I got engaged recently and while thinking about our wedding I realized something pretty simple. Almost everyone there is going to have a good camera in their pocket and will probably take a bunch of photos and videos. The problem is getting all of those afterward. Some get texted, some end up on Instagram, some in Google Photos, and a lot just stay on people's phones. So I started building a small SaaS around that problem. The idea is: Create an album for an event Get a QR code Put the QR code on tables, signs, invitations, screens, etc. Guests scan it and upload their photos directly into the shared album No app download required It started as something for our wedding, but I quickly realized the same problem happens with birthdays, graduations, reunions, company events, trips, sports events and pretty much any group event. I also added paid video support. Current pricing idea: Free: 1 event album Up to 25 photos No video uploads Party: $19.99 one time Unlimited photos Videos up to 1 minute Unlimited guests Album stays available for a year Pro: $29.99 one time Everything in Party Videos up to 5 minutes Table-specific QR codes Photos can be organized by where the QR was scanned I'm still early and mostly trying to figure out whether the pricing and feature split make sense. A few things I'd really like feedback on: Would you pay for this for a wedding or other event? Does $19.99 / $29.99 feel reasonable? Would video make you more likely to pay?
