I've been collecting Pokemon cards for like four years and I spent a lot of time in collector communities just listening to what frustrates people, and I noticed the same problem kept coming up over and over, people submit cards to PSA and then their portfolio is just incomplete for months, they don't know what their collection is worth, and they keep guessing wrong on grades with no way to actually learn. I dealt with that myself so I decided to build something about it. JK Index is a platform that lets collectors actually track their cards while they're waiting for PSA to grade them, you can see what your whole collection is worth even when cards are in limbo, there's sold listing history so you can see what actually traded hands and for how much, you can browse price trends and graded history for any card. The thing I built and I was most excited about is called Before the Slab, it's a prediction market where you guess what grade a card will get before it comes back from PSA and you find out instantly if you were right, there's also a thing called BTS Blitz which is just a quick grading challenge game where you guess grades in about two minutes, you can climb leaderboards with it if you want. The marketplace is still in beta but it lets you browse listings from collectors and dealers, all the price data and sold history feeds into that so you actually know what things are worth. Right now it works for Pokemon, One Piece, and Riftbound, I'm always adding more stuff based on what collectors actually ask for.
