Original Summary

I launched this on September 2nd. 9 real users so far, not counting my own test/admin accounts. The idea came from noticing how many people don't really have someone to talk to day-to-day, just to share how their day went, get a bit of excitement back, vent, whatever. I wanted to build something that could be that in-between step, and maybe even nudge people toward getting out and socialising more, not replace it. Not sure if that comes across as too idealistic, but that's genuinely why I started. I've been building this alone for about a year. The best part has honestly been watching an idea in my head turn into something I can just code and ship, and then getting my first genuine user who wasn't just me testing it. That moment felt different to anything else I've built. The part I'm actually nervous about is growth. I don't know if this scales past where it is now, or if I've spent a year on something I loved building but that doesn't go anywhere beyond a handful of users. I'm still enjoying it either way, but the uncertainty is real. There's a list of features I want to build next, but since it's just me working on this, I'm holding off until there's a solid enough user base, and eventually paying users, to justify investing more time and money into it. If anyone's willing to try it out, I'd genuinely appreciate the feedback. Most of my current users found it on their own rather than through people I know, and I'd love more outside perspective than I've had so far. So, genuine question for anyone here: does this resonate with a project you've put real time into? And for those who've grown past the first handful of users, what actually worked?
