Lately I have been hearing a lot of people from AI companies asking for regulation and expressing fear on AI&#x27;s capabilities. Are these genuine, or do they now realize that there is a financial bubble and they are trying to deflate it a bit?<p>It seems that it is too late for regulation to kick in. It has to be an international body and it will take forever to come to a consensus and give this body some teeth. On the other hand, if the growth is exponential, it is not surprising that you notice too late to do anything substantial.<p>How can we tell if these requests are genuine or not? I am inclined to think that they are, after listening to the CNN interview; but it sounds so strange.
