I know this is not the typical kind of project for this subject but I’ve been working really hard for seven months and I hope I can share it with people who appreciate the amount of dedication and effort and sacrifice it takes to build something. Seven months ago I wrote down in my journal “What if there were an elf on the shelf of Diwali?” Fast-forward to yesterday when I launched my project! Along the way I not only had to write a book, I learned a lot about Hinduism, learned how to hire artists to illustrate it, how to get it printed, how to work with international vendors to make a doll, how to get that test tested for safety regulation, how to get it shipped and certified through customs, and so much more.
