Most software focuses on getting you to the checkout. I started building DigiWarranty around what happens after it. For consumers, it starts simply: scan a receipt and AI extracts the purchase data, identifies the products and creates digital warranty records. Your receipts, products and warranties stay in one place. But the bigger idea is to connect the other sides too. For retailers , DigiWarranty can be a post-purchase channel: product information, digital warranties, offers and loyalty programs, without every retailer needing to build another standalone app. I’m also working on WooCommerce and Shopware plugins , plus API integrations to make onboarding easier. The next step is using AI on the retailer side to analyze post-purchase activity and turn analytics into actual suggestions. This could include customer and product patterns, loyalty opportunities, relevant offers and other actions, instead of just showing another dashboard full of charts. For manufacturers , there’s another problem I’d like to solve. If you buy products from five different brands, you may need five accounts and five different forms just to register warranties or activate extended warranties. DigiWarranty already knows much of the purchase information. The goal is to eventually let the user approve the registration and have DigiWarranty handle the process with participating manufacturers. The same product record could then connect manuals, extended warranties, service history, recalls and other lifecycle information. I’m also following the EU Digital Product Passport direction. The goal isn’t to become the compliance system itself, but potentially to become the consumer-facing ownership and lifecycle layer. The bigger picture is: Product ↔ Owner ↔ Retailer ↔ Manufacturer The consumer product is already live on iOS, Android and web , so this isn’t just an idea.
