so i made Range. bringing the internet back to 2004, how it should be, and without all the bloat… - custom HTML/CSS profiles - top 8 friends - public stream of journal entries and 7-second videos (may have taken inspiration from vine too, i’m all over the place lol) - autoplay profile song (though most modern browsers block autoplay) - web push notifications that work on mobile - Dingo is the new Tom (he’s cool) - more stuff, probably it’s very early in the release phase so not many users, and jeremy is being jeremy so not ideal, but with enough new members i’m sure we can drown him out honestly this is just for fun and our small group has been enjoying the nostalgia of it all and i thought others might be interested as well. i’m excited to see what people do with their profiles, especially now that AI can probably help make cool custom ones for those who can’t code so feel free to make an account and tell your friends and build your own little corner of the internet again! https://range.bar   submitted by   /u/rabbirobbie [link]   [comments]
