I kept running into the same problem while learning system design: I could draw a clean architecture, but nothing proved that it would actually work. So I built Torollo. Every node placed on the canvas runs locally as a real Docker container. The guided labs validate the running system instead of comparing your work to a predefined diagram. For example, one step asks you to isolate PostgreSQL from the load balancer. If the load balancer can still reach port 5432, the step fails and shows what the validator observed. You then have to fix the network rule and run the check again. The current version includes three free labs: - Building a resilient three-tier application - Implementing cache-aside with Redis - Scaling workers around a Redis job queue It is local, MIT-licensed, and does not require an account.
