Original Summary

Okay now that I have your attention, I make this INCREDIBLE, GAME CHANGING habit tracker that you're all going to love. Kidding. I wanted to share something I've been working on because even though it's AI vibecoded, it's been incredibly helpful and valuable to me. I'm not looking for much feedback, but constructive feedback is welcome as long as it isn't "Square sucks." without any elaboration, or "Square robbed me" without telling about how you sell $5 items in your store normally then after selling your car for $20,000 by Credit card, you can't figure out why square returned the charge and killed your account. Questions are welcome. I probably will end up sharing this out when I'm ready for anyone who has similar Point of Sale needs but doesn't want to invest a ton in hardware. I just was hoping to share. I know "vibe coding" brings out mixed feelings from people here, but it's a reality that everyone has to deal with from here on out. I have had the pleasure of learning and being more bold, going from basic websites to something a bit more complicated (a 3-screen POS/KDS solution that uses popular POS infrastructure). PROBLEM : My business, for now, uses Square as our point of sale. We're a restaurant that does mobile and catering business. As you know, foodservice margins are tight, so we have to carefully tread that line between "works to make business better" and "is affordable". One thing that we have needed for some time is a customer-facing tablet and a mobile kitchen display system. Why existing solutions don't work : Money. Square register is the big part of the exact solution we need, but we don't have $800 to spend. In the busy kitchen we do use a Square ipad POS, but each piece of hardware is compatible only with a handful of ipads that we have to rig an old system to work with our current ipad (again, to avoid buying new hardware we don't want to buy). Plus - many days we are in 3-4 places at once. That's an investment of $2700+ and it's tough to ask employees to use their hotspot service to go online when they're at a farmer's market. We currently have a cheap business plan with T-Mobile that we got grandfathered into ($30 a month for (3) SIM cards of service, 10gb of LTE each). Using those has given us smooth transactions since we never worry about connectivity. Why do we need this system? We don't "need" it, but there's value. A KDS gets us order speed and accuracy when one person is manning a tent with a grill and a cooler and a POS system. A customer-facing tablet does the same and helps engage them more. What else? I'm not a huge proponent of this, but as a business owner who hasn't yet made the full sacrifice to quit my job and run the business like my two other partners, I don't need tips. So I prefer to just not do the whole "okay you're going to have a screen com
