I kept running into sites that wanted me to upload a folder of photos just to convert HEIC files or get an image under an upload limit. I didn’t love that, so I built FilePolish. The work happens locally in your browser. I also added exact-size targets because ‘make this under 1 MB’ is usually the real problem—not choosing a random compression percentage. It handles images, PDFs, video, audio and OCR. There’s a Windows app too. The Mac desktop version is on hold until I can notarize it properly. The basic single-file tools are free.
