I shared an overview of Lumiya here yesterday. One smaller part of the app I'd like feedback on is its iPhone home screen note widget. I'm the developer. You choose a note to pin. It might be a line you want to develop into a story, a question you're thinking about, or a reminder of why you started a project. It stays something you can glance at, instead of requiring another trip through your notes timeline. The tradeoff I'm thinking about: choosing the note yourself gives you control, but a note left there too long can become invisible. Automatic rotation could bring back more ideas, but might show something you didn't want on your home screen. For people who use note widgets, what earns that space: a specific next action, a question, or a fragment of inspiration? Do you change it deliberately, or eventually stop noticing it?
