I shared Pips2 here back in June. It started as a small browser game because I kept finishing the daily Pips puzzles and wanting more to play. Since then, I’ve kept working on it, and there’s now an iPhone app too. For anyone unfamiliar with Pips-style puzzles: you place dominoes on a board so the numbers satisfy the clues in each colored region. The app includes: 6,000 offline puzzles across Easy, Medium, and Hard, so you can keep playing at your own pace without an internet connection. Repair mode , where you start with a filled board and figure out which dominoes need moving to make all the clues work. Both Classic and Repair modes work offline. Live 1v1 duels , where you and a friend solve the same puzzle at the same time. First to win two rounds wins the match. Both players need the app and an internet connection. It’s $3.99 USD upfront , with all modes included and no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
