Original Summary

Quick pitch: a lot of arguments (with a partner, roommate, friend, family) aren't really about who's "right" — they're about whether the reaction matches the situation. So I built Overreacting? — you describe what happened, answer a few quick context questions (who's involved, how you're feeling, how harsh you want the judge to be), and it gives you a real verdict: valid, overreacting, mixed, or somewhere in between — plus an explanation and a concrete "what to do next." It's currently a web app (works fine on mobile browsers) while I get it ready for the App Store and Google Play. I'd genuinely love a few people to try it on a real situation (yours or a made-up one) and tell me: did the verdict feel fair, or too one-sided either way? Was the "why" explanation actually useful, or just generic? Did anything about the flow feel confusing or slow? And the "gentle judge vs savage judge" toggle — fun addition or unnecessary? Any feedback, even harsh, is genuinely welcome. submitted by /u/Loud-Reply2281 [link] [comments]
