Original Summary
I noticed this thing at my workplace where I hooked up Claude to our serverlogs, codebase, swagger, ticketing system and sentry and was able to actually answer quite sophisticated queries on a custom MCP server. For queries like: "Which parts of the product are affected if we change this API?" or “Why are customers getting this error, and when did it start?”. For me this was fairly trivial in a afternoon in Python. However the responses I got from Customer success, Product managers and other non-techies made it seem like I did some sort of black magic. Anyway fast forward: thought how about combining the power of AI/agents/MCP servers and connected agents to something that non coders already understand: teams/slack and a SaaS UI to connect it all with a few clicks. That turned into a nice little side project I'm now rolling out. I'll not spam/promote but I am curious: What your experiences with information that is usually privileged to engineers simply because it's hard to read/piece together for non technical people? And how often do you have to chase/distract/bother someone to get to some piece of information? submitted by /u/Human-Possession135 [link] [comments]
