Original Summary
Most online converters quietly upload your documents to a server. I wanted the opposite, so I built one where the conversion happens entirely on your own device — you can watch the network tab and see zero file uploads. It handles documents (DOCX↔PDF, Markdown→DOCX), spreadsheets (CSV↔XLSX), images (HEIC, RAW, AVIF, JPEG XL), config files (YAML↔TOML↔JSON), map data (GeoJSON↔KML) and archives (7z/RAR/TAR→ZIP). Free, no sign-up, no watermark. commonfileconverter.com I’d love for you to test it out and let me know if you run into any edge cases or formatting quirks. Happy to answer any questions about how it's put together! submitted by /u/tuginalong [link] [comments]
