Original Summary
Hey all, I’m a solo dev and I just released GridHabit: Habit Tracker on Android. It shows your habits as a colored grid, so you can see how you’re doing at a glance. I handled development, design and marketing myself. What I learned along the way: Shipping a simple version beats polishing forever. I launched with the core idea and I’m improving it from real feedback. Doing everything solo forces you to cut features. If something didn’t help the main idea, it didn’t make it in. The launch is only the start. Getting the first users is a whole separate job from building the app. I’m still figuring out how to get the first users, so I’d love feedback on two things: What would make you try a new habit tracker over the one you use now? Any channels that worked for you when launching a small app? Link: GridHabit submitted by /u/Minimum_Box3570 [link] [comments]
