Original Summary

Hey everyone. I'm a data engineer from Cape Town, South Africa, and I've been building Zarbill (zarbill.com) as a side project for my own freelance work. It's live with a free plan and I'm looking for early users and honest feedback (already have 6 users)… The problem: most invoicing tools stop once the invoice is sent. If you freelance for international clients, the hard part comes after that - chasing payment, working out which payment in your Wise or Payoneer account belongs to which invoice, and figuring out what you actually earned after fees and exchange rates. What Zarbill does: - Invoices and quotes in any currency, set per client - Automatic reminders, payment links, part-payment tracking, recurring invoices - Upload a Wise, Payoneer, PayPal or bank statement and it matches payments to invoices, with an explanation for every match (rule-based, so you can see why) - Tracks fees and your real exchange rate per payment - Cash forecast based on how each client has paid before - Follow-up suggestions with AI-drafted emails that you review before sending - Year-end income report for your accountant, plus CSV import/export Stack: Next.js, Supabase, Resend, Paystack, Claude for the email drafts. What I'd love critique on: - Does the landing page make it clear what it does and who it's for? - Would you switch from what you use now? Why or why not? - Anything that feels broken or confusing in the first 5 minutes? Happy to answer any questions about the build. submitted by /u/No_Difference_3825 [link] [comments]
