Original Summary
Ever had a boss who made your life miserable? An internship that turned out nothing like the job description? Or an investor who seemed great until you actually started working with them? Most of us have stories about work that we only tell friends privately. You might want to warn people about a terrible manager, share what a company is really like, or talk about a VC whose behaviour founders should know about. But speaking openly can feel risky when your career, references or professional network are involved. That's what I'm trying to build with Bossmaxxing . A place where people can anonymously share their experiences and discuss the realities of working life, from office politics and toxic bosses to startup culture, internships, and investor relationships. Because workplace culture isn't just about what a company says on its careers page. And the startup ecosystem isn't always as glamorous as it looks on LinkedIn. The goal isn't to encourage baseless accusations or turn people into targets. It's to give people a place to share genuine experiences, spot patterns, and make better-informed decisions. Today is day 1. I'm building this from scratch and still figuring out what it should become. If a platform like this existed, what would you want to discuss that you currently feel you can't say publicly? I'd genuinely appreciate your thoughts, criticisms, and ideas. submitted by /u/AngelsImperius_ [link] [comments]
