Original Summary
Hey everyone, I'm a solo dev who got into running seriously a year ago, and with overtime I realized something annoying with apps like Strava and Garmin whihc are great for tracking daily mileage, but they are terrible at showcasing actual official race results. You run your race, the feed looks great showcasing your PR and then you start logging your other daily runs and your PR is buried in the feed. So I built FlexMy.Run to solve this. It’s essentially a link-in-bio page specifically for a runner's race history. The Tech & Mechanics: Ghost vs. Verified Cards: Self-reported times stay muted. But if you drop in a link to an official timing page (or upload a screenshot receipt), the card "Ignites". It gets a volt-green WebGL glow, particle bursts, and 3D tilt physics (shown in the video!). Design: I wanted it to feel like something I'd want to show off and I went for a dark-only "Obsidian & Acid" theme. Used framer-motion along with Acertinity UI for some components to get the initial theme that appeased me Built-in Viral Loop: Every profile generates a custom 9:16 story card for Instagram, watermarked with the user's handle so you can show it off after every race and have a anchor for feed to check it out It’s 100% free and takes 15 seconds to set up. I’d love feedback on the UI, the claim flow, or the verification mechanic. You can check it out (and claim your handle) here: https://flexmy.run Here's my live profile as an example: https://flexmy.run/imtiazraqib submitted by /u/pOistyHD [link] [comments]
