Original Summary

hey! me and a few friends are building a concert journal app. after a show you log it with your photos, videos, setlist, who you went with, and some notes on the night, so you end up with an archive of every show you’ve been to. here’s the site: link right now it’s a personal journal, and the big question we’re stuck on is whether to add social features. we’re thinking of something like beli but for concerts, where you rank your shows, see where your friends went, and find people who were at the same show. the case for it is that social is how apps like beli and letterboxd grow, and concerts are already a social thing. the case against it is that the journal part feels personal, and adding a feed might make it feel like one more app to keep up with. would love input on any of this: if you landed on the site, would you sign up? if not, what’s missing? does “beli for concerts” make sense right away or does it need explaining? if you’ve built something with social features, did they help early on, or should we get the solo version right first? if you’d never download this, what feature would change your mind? happy to return the favor and check out what you’re building too submitted by /u/Charming-Influence16 [link] [comments]
