Original Summary

Hey r/SideProject , I'm a high school student, and for the past 2 days I've been building Clippi (clippi.fr). The itch: a 40-minute interview or podcast usually hides a handful of moments that would work great as Shorts, Reels or TikToks, but finding and editing them takes a whole evening. What it does You upload a video (file or YouTube link) It transcribes it, finds the strongest passages and scores each one with a short explanation It reframes to 9:16 on the speaker's face, adds subtitles (9 styles, including a word-by-word cascade one) and runs a quality check on every clip You approve the selection and download the MP4s Decisions I made on purpose You see the cost in tokens before anything runs, and a failed job is refunded 60 free tokens every month, no credit card (roughly one 20-minute video with 5 clips) Nothing gets posted without your approval. For now you download the files yourself; direct posting to YouTube/TikTok/Instagram comes later How it's built: I used an AI coding assistant for a lot of the code, and the pipeline is split into 10 small "agents" (ingestion, transcription, clip selection, subtitles, quality control...). Happy to share what worked and what didn't. It's brand new and I'm sure there are rough edges, so this is a beta. What I'd love most is honest feedback: What's confusing or missing? What kind of video breaks it? Would you pay for this, and how much? Demo video attached. Thanks for reading! submitted by /u/Th3SaaSBuild3r [link] [comments]
