Original Summary

Most DAWs are huge, paid and built by teams, so I started building a small, free one. It’s now at version 0.9 and I’m looking for people to try it and tell me what’s missing. What it does: records audio and MIDI, hosts VST3 plugins, and has a sampler, a drum rack, a piano roll with scale and chord helper, a clip launcher and a full effects chain. There’s a command palette (Ctrl+K), a starter pack of sounds and project templates, so you can make a beat in the first minute. Tech: C++17, JUCE 8, open source (AGPLv3). Honest status: it’s young, Windows-only and VST3-only, and you’ll find rough edges.
