Original Summary
Look at what people are building now. Someone has a small problem, explains it to AI, and gets a custom tool that does exactly what they need. A year ago, that person might have paid $29 a month for a subscription. Now they might never even search for the product. And I think a lot of founders are still underestimating how much this changes the business. There are thousands of SaaS products that exist mainly because building software used to be difficult. They charge monthly fees for something customers only use once in a while. Those are going to be very hard businesses to defend. If I were starting a software company today, I'd spend a lot more time figuring out why customers would still need me after AI can build the basic product for free. Because charging $29 a month for something Claude can make in five minutes is becoming a pretty difficult business model. submitted by /u/Ahsan_weed1 [link] [comments]
