Original Summary

I’m an A1 learner and made a free visual German grammar app. Would love some feedback! Hi everyone! I’m an A1 German learner and a graphic designer, so visual aids are very much my thing. Remembering German grammar rules… less so. I started building German Grammar Compass for myself, to make those rules easier to understand and remember. As it came together, I thought other learners might enjoy it too, so I’ve just published it as a free website and web app ! The focus is German grammar , beyond just memorising vocabulary: visual lessons, colour-coded cheat sheets, quizzes, and little games like Der-Die-Das Dash and Case Catcher. There’s XP, stars and unit bosses to make practising a bit more fun. A few practical bits: Completely free, with no sign-up. There’s an optional Buy Me a Coffee link, but donating is never required. Progress saves in your browser , on that device. You can export a backup to keep it safe or move it elsewhere. Use it like an app: add it to your home screen through Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android. Light and dark modes: open Me → Settings to switch. It’s very new, and I’m still learning German myself, so I’d love some first-user feedback: what helps, what’s confusing, or anything that needs correcting. I’ll keep developing it as I learn, and the thought of other people learning alongside me is pretty lovely. 🙂 Try it here: germangrammarcompass.com submitted by /u/Striking_Eye_9848 [link] [comments]
